Suit against the toy company Mattel lead paint

A lawsuit was filed on Monday against Mattel – the largest toy, the U.S. – Because many corporate products were found to contain excessive amounts of lead. A little over a week, Mattel recalled hundreds of thousands of toy vehicle distribution die because the paint used on toys containing dangerous levels of lead. (Cars depicted the character Sarge from the movie Cars from Pixar 2006.) Several weeks before that, nearly a million toys were recalled by a subsidiary of Mattel, for the same reason. (These toys are those that represent the characters of Sesame Street at the time and Dora the Explorer.) All the products in question were actually manufactured in China.

Similar (but different), costume made earlier this month in Florida is also a target of class action status. Lead is particularly toxic to the brain and the body of young children. It can cause learning difficulties, blood, brain diseases and nervous system damage. Mattel is the parent company of Fisher-Price, American Girl, Radica and the United States.
